We enjoy participating in the Michigan Department of Transportation Adopt-a-highway program. We have been engaged in this public service since 1994.

The highway we clean is a two mile stretch of M-37 south of Grant, from 128th Avenue south to Moore Road (which is the county line). This state sponsored program identifies three periods, of about 10 days each, in May and July and September during which we are asked to don the vests, get the bags, and pick up the highway trash. We have several people who enjoy this service.
